Another Level

I've been hanging out with this gal for a while now. I recognize her from last year. I spent some time with her in the hospital and rehab. She sure is getting around a lot faster now, but she keeps talking about something called retirement. I'm not sure what that is, but I probably won't be visiting her anymore. Sigh. That will be another level of adjustment. I guess I'll go plant myself in another office and spy out the comings and goings there.

Been there, done that

Well, the new kid THOUGHT he was being all that and a bag of chips, but little did he know that I'd hung out in that spot before. Thinks he's a smart one. Well, phooey on that. I'm going to go hang out with someone ACTUALLY smart. Lata!

Office Daredevil

Hey all!

Sorry it took me so long guys. The new kid takes a while to catch on. I stared at the back of his head for weeks! After waiting all that time I finally just wedged my way out of the picture and waddled towards the outside door in the post office.

To my dismay it was raining so I walked back to the new guy and he finally noticed me when I crawled onto his lap. He was scared at first but when he realized it was me he felt bad that he hadn't found me and tried to show me a good time around the office.

He had me sit on his desk and listen to some music which was kind of fun but I was looking to live dangerously today so I asked him if there was anything more "life on the edge" we could do. He told me he had something cool I could try that was very dangerous and then told me to back off his snacks. He's so protective of his food...don't tell him but I think he eats too often to be a human. He may be a pumpkin boy. Anyways, ONWARD to our next adventure!

Now this is more like it! Ah, the thrill of being alive! Am I going to be cut in two? Am I the next pumpkin pie?
As the cutter was dropping the new guy pulled me out and saved me. He's not so bad. We hung out in the break room for a while and chatted about life, the universe, and God's plan for us. It got really deep, really quick...

so now I'm off to my next destination. Wish me luck as hopefully this next gal finds me quicker than Micah did.

Till next time,

Wyatt (the daredevil pumpkin)

Latin Life

What a wonderful visit I had with the Carrs at the guesthouse. It was hot though!

Here's a picture of my new friend Miku and I in Argentina.

The lanky one and I had time for a picture in front of the Harriman's hotel!

Nobody likes to spend eight hours in the airport. Especially not pumpkins.

I have now been on three different continents. At first, Europe seemed unimaginable. But now South America too?!? It simply blows my little pumpkin mind. I think I like Latin culture. Siestas in the afternoon, late dinners and kisses on the cheek. Man, did I kiss a lot of girls! Well, alright, not exactly... But I watched lots of greetings happen! The heat was a nice change from the freezer where I spent many hours shivering by myself. It got up to 103 degrees one day in Paraguay! I almost sweat my mustache right off my face. Fortunately, the Bowen boys didn't rip off my eyebrow either. They can be a rough bunch, ya know. Argentina was a great opportunity to meet new friends. We spent time with the Weinerts, Moons and the Archers, including their new puppy. Arwen. All in all, it was a fantabulous trip. However, I was very glad to see Indiana again after nearly three weeks away!

It's definitely not a restaurant, but it still has a menu.
If you can solve this clue, you will find my current venue.

Your favorite pumpkin,

Wyatt

I’m Back!

Sorry for the long hiatus I took recently. Since Kristi got to enjoy six weeks of renewal this summer, I thought, “Why not me? I deserve a break!” Adam was kind enough to let me hang in his Lego lair and just chill. However, I must have overstayed my welcome, because then I ended up in the freezer that NEVER gets used! Nice, people, very nice! I’m not sure my unibrow will ever be the same. I also think my goggley eye is freezer burnt.

I’m really hoping that Spencer takes better care of me as we head to South America this weekend. What more could a pumpkin want than to visit missionaries in Paraguay and Argentina? I can’t wait to hang out with the boys in Paraguay; I’ve heard they’re full of energy; and to travel with Prez Hubert before he retires.

Bon Voyage! Enjoy the snow! :o)

Out of Office

I was out of the office for awhile. The new girl introduced me to a new section of the building where you all work - at least that is what you call it. <wink, wink> I really thought I may be on an adventure vacation. I was quite pleased with the prospect of letting my hair down, but I learned quite quickly that this was no walk in the park. I soon found myself hanging from the back of your picture boxes starring off into a wall of grey. Thank goodness I have been found. I did not wish to fall and bruise any of my stunning orange skin. My new hiding spot reminds of the beach. I must try out a swimsuit sometime. I do declare that my self-tanner bod could turn heads. I am looking out onto a tan surface, reminds me of sand. And, from time to time things heat up here and I need some lotion so my cheeks don't burn. I am much more attractive orange than brown. Am I right, ladies? While at the beach I would like to be sipping little beverages with umbrellas in them but instead I am learning a valuable lesson - seems some grown-ups do not wish to grow up. You humans, with your two eyes, are quite peculiar indeed. Here's to being found before my tan lines start showing.

Hello Long Lost Friends

Well, I can already tell you that I am not fond of this new gal. I have been hanging on for dear life in this air vent for a couple months now. I mean, she seems nice, but I have seen her look up at me several times and it’s almost like I can hear her saying, “oh, I will get up there and get him later.” And to make matters worse, it’s pumpkin season! She even had the nerve to bring in a pumpkin spiced coffee the other day and drink it right below me. I’m hoping over time we can become better friends, but right now, I would rather be far away from her.

I must admit though, this new change of living isn’t entirely much better. It is kind of lonely. I only hear and see people occasionally and there is this constant annoying noise that I have to listen to daily. I really hope I am not in this place as long as I was up above “that” one gal's office. Somebody, ANYBODY, find me!
